October 2026

This is the first FPR newsletter. It will come once a month and say what was added to the journal: new entries on the wanted list, and pieces as they are published.

This month the list grew by a hundred and two entries. Most are in areas that were thin: evidence, civil procedure, tort, property and international law. There are also eight more dissents, four of them from the constitution benches of 2024.

Call for submissions

Any law student in India may write for FPR. Pick an entry from the wanted list, or propose one of your own. First and second years may write the six encyclopedic forms at 2,000 words; from the third year on, any form at 3,000 words. We do not reject a submission outright: an editor reads it against its sources and works with you until it is ready.

For the next issue, submit by 30 November 2026. Later submissions are read as they come.
