CP-01Counterparts
Indian law, with the rest of the world set beside it.
FPR’s entries are on Indian law and are written by Indian law students. A counterpart sets another country’s law beside one of them: how German law treats what India calls the basic structure, how Kenyan courts read a clause India borrowed. It may be a note of a few hundred words or a full entry.
Counterparts are written by recognised scholars and by verified LL.M. and PhD researchers, and each is signed with its author’s name and post. An FPR editor reads each one before it appears, but FPR’s editors are trained in Indian law: a counterpart rests on its author’s authority, not on ours.
To write one, open any entry from Browse and follow “Write a counterpart from your jurisdiction” at its foot.
